PREDRAG TOŠIĆ
FACILITATOR
Predrag Tošić MSc is a master of gastronomy and a Professor of practical cooking classes at the VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF CATERING TRADE AND TOURISM in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is enrolled on a PhD course at PMF, University of Novi Sad and is currently writing his doctoral dissertation entitled: "Local food in the focus of hospitality workers and its importance for the development of tourism in the Republic of Srpska".
Predrag has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years in reception, restaurant and kitchens in a variety of roles from operative to management positions in all the aforementioned departments. For the last 10 years he has worked at the above school, teaching theoretical and practical classes, more recently specialising in practical culinary skills.
As a participant in many national and international culinary competitions, Predrag has won numerous awards; now he dedicates his free time to learning and passing on his acquired knowledge to younger generations; his primary focus is on guiding and mentoring his students to follow in his footsteps. His vast experience in cooking and gastronomy workshops and seminars prompted him to compile a culinary recipe book and he has contributed to a book of recipes for preschool children. Furthermore, Predrag has advised, and written to, digital media platforms on the subject of gastronomy and he is a well-known TV chef in the Republic of Srpska with over 550 recorded shows to his credit.
